We would give it a 20 out of 10, as it exceeded our expectations. Emma and Gordon made our stay an incredibly enjoyable experience.
Emma was very friendly and attentive, offering us valuable travel advice. Our family stayed in three rooms, all of which were immaculate, with high-quality toiletries provided.
The location is perfect, conveniently situated between the train station and Sandown Pier, just a short walk in either direction.

  • Great place to stay! – Gwen from United Kingdom (10/10)

I received a wonderfully warm welcome from Emma and Gordon when I arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was exceptionally clean with a modern decor. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. It was good to have access to a guest lounge to relax in. The B&B is located not too far from the station and there are bus stops nearby – handy for trips to Shanklin etc. The beach is also a short walk away. I will definitely stay again if I revisit the Isle of Wight.

  • Gem of a hotel in Sandown – Jones from United Kingdom (10/10)

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the owners were brilliant hosts anything you needed they were happy to assist. Breakfast was one of the best full English breakfasts I've had and plenty of choice. The room we stayed in had a sea view and view of the Downs. The room had almost everything you needed for your stay if there was anything else then Emma, the host was happy to help. The mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, nice sized shower. There was even hair straighteners in the bag with the hairdryer and a decent sized television. The hotel itself was very easy to get to and not too far away from the sea front and had plenty of parking which is a big plus.
They have a lovely communal area and outdoor space although we were on the IOW for the Festival so didn't get much time to use either and the space itself is very inviting and comfortable.
There are leaflets and guides near the front door for guests to use all in all id 100% recommend the hotel to others and definitely stay there again.

Great location, 5 minute walk to Sandown seafront, some nice restaurants.
Stayed in the Gentlemen's room, very comfortable.
Emma and Gordon are such lovely hosts, friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
We highly recommend The Bell Lodge, you will be hard pushed to find better.
