The Beachhouse Overview
First Impressions
You know what strikes you first about The Beachhouse? It’s not trying too hard to be something it isn’t. This four-star spot in Chichester feels refreshingly unpretentious — more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s coastal retreat than some corporate hotel chain. The moment I pulled into their private parking area (honestly, free parking anywhere near the coast is practically gold these days), I could tell this place had character. There’s something about the way it sits in the landscape that just feels right, if that makes sense.
Location & Setting
The location is genuinely special, and I mean that — recent guests have been rating it 8.1 out of 10, which actually undersells it a bit. You’re close enough to Chichester’s historic center to pop in for dinner or explore the cathedral, but far enough out to feel like you’ve escaped the everyday hustle. What really works here is how couples seem to gravitate toward this place. I watched several pairs during my stay, and there’s definitely something about the setting that brings out those romantic weekend vibes. The surrounding area has this lovely English countryside-meets-coast feeling that’s hard to find elsewhere.
The Accommodation Experience
The rooms at The Beachhouse strike that perfect balance between comfort and style without feeling overly designed. Mine had this wonderful natural light that changed throughout the day — you know how some hotel rooms feel like caves? Not here. The furnishings feel thoughtfully chosen rather than bulk-ordered, and there are these little touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. I particularly appreciated how quiet everything was; you can actually hear yourself think, which is rarer than it should be in hotels these days.
Practical Perks
Let me tell you about that parking situation again because it’s honestly a game-changer. Free, private, on-site parking might not sound glamorous, but when you’re exploring this part of England, it removes so much stress from your day. You can actually venture out to nearby attractions — maybe West Wittering Beach or Goodwood — without worrying about finding a spot when you return. The staff seem to understand that these practical details matter just as much as the pretty stuff, and it shows in how smoothly everything runs.
Why Guests Love It
There’s this genuine warmth to The Beachhouse that keeps people coming back, especially couples looking for that perfect getaway spot. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but it delivers on the things that actually matter — comfort, location, and that intangible feeling of being well looked after. The high ratings make sense when you experience it firsthand; this is the kind of place where you find yourself already planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out. Sometimes the best hotels are the ones that feel effortless, and that’s exactly what you get here.
Apartments on the Isle of Wight suit families craving kitchenettes, bike storage, and balconies facing the Solent.

Reviews of The Beachhouse
A really enjoyable stay in the Beachhouse. – Doug from United Kingdom (9/10)
The Beachhouse was a good property in which to stay and was found in excellent condition. It contained all the items you might need for your holiday stay (including a supply of tea and coffee) and was very comfortable. The environmental friendly soap and washing up liquid was particularly worthy of note. In addition, the Holiday Park site was a quite location and well maintained.
