  The house had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and 12 minutes walking distance to store and ~12 minutes walking distance to Freshwater Bay. The property management company was extremely accommodating and responded promptly to messages. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

  The location was really good, close to both Freshwater town and bay as well as only a ten minute drive to Yarmouth. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The pint of milk in the fridge and little packets of biscuits were a really kind thought. It was also good to be able to park on the drive and not have to worry about finding a parking place every evening.

  Perfect location!! Very comfortable beds for a restful sleep and a lot more space than we were expecting. Parking was good too. This was our home away from home for a lovely week and we would definitely return. We particularly enjoyed freshwater bay and Compton bay beach- great for a little one to play! Thank you

  We had a wonderful stay at RedButt House. It's very well looked after, really well equipped, and a lovely space for socialising with family or friends. The location is great for exploring (particularly the west of the island), very easy to get to from the Yarmouth ferry terminal, and there is a small shop and a supermarket nearby.

  Visiting Isle of Wight from California – I stayed mostly on my own at RedButt House, without a car, for nearly two weeks. I was aiming to relax, explore a bit, and think. I had everything I needed to be comfortable and entertain myself. This place made me feel I had a "real" home to come back to (or stay in) each day. Nearby Tennyson Down and Tennyson's Farringford house, Dimbola Museum and tea room, Piano cafe for breakfast, Freshwater Bay's beach, Compton Bay's dinosaur footprints, and the frequent nearby bus system were all so convenient. There is even a free little library at one of the nearby bus stop shelters – filled with so many books! The home was well appointed with linens and plenty of warm bedding, plenty of dishes and all I needed to make meals – even some herbs and spices. The dining room cabinet was filled with great books about the area and its local history. The nearby corner grocery shop was fantastic. One tip: I did have to stock up on things like garbage bags, toilet paper, and hand soap for bathrooms, but the nearby shop made that very easy. Even the Tesco and Boots were only about 15 minutes' walk away. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!

  Great location close to the beach and many attractions also on a quiet road . The house was clean and spacious . The kitchen was well stocked and a welcome pack left which was an added bonus. The owner was very helpful when we had to cancel our holiday and rebook due to unforseen circumstances overseeing it all . This was out 1st time staying on the Isle of Wight and we weren't disappointed the weather was lovely too.
