What I love is that it feels properly secluded (you’re away from the main road noise) but you’re still only about 10 minutes from Havant if you need anything. The rooms at Langstone Quays Resort are what I’d call comfortably modern without being flashy. Mine had a decent view of the harbor, and the bed was actually really comfortable — sometimes that’s all you need, right? The bathroom was well-appointed, nothing fancy but everything worked properly. What struck me was how quiet it was at night; you get the gentle sounds of water but none of the typical hotel corridor noise. The decor leans nautical without going overboard (no pun intended), and there’s enough space to spread out your things without feeling cramped.

I have to say, the breakfast situation here is impressive. They’ve got everything covered — full English, continental, vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free options. It’s set up as a buffet, which normally makes me a bit wary, but the quality was genuinely good. The full English was proper, not the sad hotel version you sometimes get, and they even do breakfast to go if you’re heading out early. I appreciated that they clearly put thought into accommodating different dietary needs without making it feel like an afterthought.
