You’re tucked away on The Fairway, which sounds fancy but is actually just a lovely tree-lined street that feels worlds away from the busier parts of Sandown. What I loved is that you get this residential calm, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters on the Isle of Wight. The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — having your own guaranteed spot right on site is honestly a game-changer when you’re exploring the island.

The Accommodation

My room had that cottage charm you’d hope for from the name, but with all the modern touches that actually matter. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together — you could tell someone had put real consideration into how guests would use it. I particularly appreciated the little details, like having enough outlets near the bed and proper lighting for reading. The whole place has this warm, welcoming feel that makes you want to kick off your shoes and settle in for longer than planned.

  Lance & Sarah were great hosts, everything we needed for the holiday was provided, keys were in the front door on arrival, the property was spotlessly clean, great location, 15 min walk to the beach, close to the railway line, very quiet neighbourhood, great beach at Sandown or Yaverland, would definitely recommend the property and would book again if returning to Isle of Wight

  The property was immaculate. There were two ensuite bathrooms. One had a bath and the other a shower.The bedrooms were very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were very nice, as was the large lounge. Coffee, biscuits, tea, and milk were left for us, which was a nice touch. Bramley was situated in a quiet residential area in Sandown within easy walking distance of the sea front and town. There was a Tesco express at the end of the street and a bus stop, too. There was also a Morrisons nearby. We enjoyed staying there for the IOW festival.

  It is very spacious, clean and looks new. The house has large windows with great views on the hills. It is conveniently located to most places of interest, there are grocery shops within walking distance. The hosts have been wonderful and very helpful.
