5 Bed Luxury Villa Stunning Waterside Escape with Pool – Sleeps 12, Private Parking & Jetty! River Hamble – By Blue Puffin Stays Overview

First Impressions

Honestly, when I first pulled up to 5 Bed Luxury Villa Stunning Waterside Escape with Pool – Sleeps 12, Private Parking & Jetty! River Hamble – By Blue Puffin Stays, I wasn’t quite prepared for how spectacular the setting would be. This four-star property sits right on the River Hamble in Sarisbury Green, and you know what — the name actually undersells it. The private jetty extends into the water like something from a magazine spread, while the house itself feels more like a country estate than your typical holiday rental.

The Waterside Location

The River Hamble is honestly one of those hidden gems that locals keep trying to keep secret, but this villa puts you right in the heart of it all. You’re looking out at sailing boats drifting past your windows, and the jetty means you can literally step from the garden onto the water. Sarisbury Green itself is this lovely village that feels properly English without being touristy — there’s a decent pub within walking distance, and you’re close enough to Southampton for day trips but far enough away to feel like you’ve escaped. I mean, couples rate this place incredibly highly, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having your morning coffee while watching the river flow past.

The Villa and Pool

Inside, the villa actually lives up to its grand name with five bedrooms that easily sleep twelve people without anyone feeling cramped. The layout works brilliantly for groups — you’ve got communal spaces that bring everyone together and enough private corners when you need to escape. But honestly, the real star is that pool area. It’s positioned so you can swim while looking out over the river, which feels almost surreal on a sunny day. The private parking is a godsend too — you know how tricky parking can be near waterfront properties, but here you just pull up and you’re sorted.

Practical Comforts

What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches that show someone actually understands what guests need. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking for a crowd, not just the bare minimum you sometimes get in holiday rentals. There’s plenty of outdoor seating for those long summer evenings, and the WiFi actually works throughout the property — which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to coordinate plans with a large group. The whole place feels like it’s been designed by people who’ve actually stayed in holiday homes themselves.

Why Guests Love It

This villa gets a perfect 10 rating from guests, and after spending time here, I completely understand why. It’s that rare combination of spectacular location and practical comfort that makes everyone happy — whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or a big family celebration. The River Hamble setting gives you that proper escape feeling, while the villa itself provides all the space and amenities you need to actually relax. Plus, having your own jetty means you can arrange boat trips or just sit with your feet dangling in the water — it’s the kind of detail that turns a good holiday into an unforgettable one.
