You can walk to the beach in about two minutes, and I mean a proper walk, not some marketing department’s idea of “walking distance.” The village has a couple of decent pubs, including the Seaview Hotel’s restaurant which does excellent seafood if you don’t feel like cooking. There’s also a small shop for basics, though you’ll want to stock up properly in nearby Ryde if you’re planning to use that kitchen much.

Practical Comforts

The cottage comes with everything you’d actually need for a proper stay — good WiFi, comfortable beds, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re camping. Parking is included, which might not sound exciting but trust me, it matters when you’re trying to explore the island without worrying about where to leave your car.   These cottages are always clean and tidy and good as a base. location to the sea is fab and so peaceful .Good restaurants and facilities within walking distance. They are well provided for in terms of cutlery and pots and pans.
